DocuSign Chairman and CEO Keith Krach, kicked off MOMENTUM 2013 telling the success story of a recently married couple that used DocuSign to sign the loan paperwork for their first home.  Mr. Krach pointed out the process was completed while the husband was deployed in Afghanistan and the wife was stateside. • DocuSign has expanded its cloud storage integration.  DocuSign now allows users to import cloud-based documents from Evernote, Egnyte, and Microsoft SkyDrive.
• DocuSign has also rolled out enhanced email security with a specific code at the bottom of each DocuSign email that users can enter on the DocuSign website to verify the authenticity of an email.

We listened to your feedback and focused on enhancing the design, user experience and features for DocuSign Ink 2.0 for Android. You can now sign a document and manage documents sent for signature directly through the app.

The answer? It’s complicated, but Purdue is adjusting it’s budget to make sure that they can follow through.  One change that they’re making is changing the way that cash balances are handled.

“We put much of the cash into interest-bearing accounts that yield one or two-percent interest. But there‘s an amount that we’re sure is going to stay as a cash balance for some period of time that we can put into the endowment and get much higher rates of return,” explained Vice President and Treasurer Al Diaz.

President Mitch Daniels is also looking to his university for other ideas, reviewing suggestions from university employees, such as better managing heating and cooling systems, installing motoin sensors to turn off lights when rooms are not in use, and reducing internal mailings from units on campus.

The university is also considering a pay freeze for administrative and professional staff earning more than $50,000 a year.  They are also asking individuals and departments to voluntarily give up raises for the next year, and even though the faculty are not included in the pay raise, reports are that many of the professionals at the school are talking about voluntarily foregoing a raise.

It seems that Daniels is starting to fit in at Purdue.  As Keith Krach said when Daniels was elected, “the combination of our distinguished faculty and the Governor’s unique skills will be an unbeatable combination.”

One of the central components that Hinshaw has brought into HP in order to transform their technology processes and make them more effective is through cloud-based software like DocuSign.  For HP, DocuSign has revolutionized how they interact with resellers and financial services.

“We’ve also licensed a product enterprise-wide called DocuSign,” Hinshaw related to All Things D. “When we would sign up a new reseller, it used to take five weeks in the transaction process.  Now it’s five days. HP Financial Services would take two or three days of paperwork back and forth. Now it’s 10 minutes.”

Because of HP’s use of DocuSign and other cloud-based systems, HO’s sales teams can sell faster and their efficiency has gone up.  HP can now implement new functionality much quicker than they used to.  And the people at HP are excited- even if it took a little bit of tie.  ”People were pretty excited about a new sales process and a new HR process. The area that required the most collaboration was in sales,” Hinshaw explained. “You had to get all four business units on board with the same process, one view of the customer. That took a lot of upfront work to get that right, and everyone was used to doing it in a certain way. But we got there. Now… we’re the largest DocuSign customer ever.”
