The smells of seniority, coffee and surrounding Homecoming barbecues only added another touch of home to Saturday's family-oriented dedication of the Krach Leadership Center.
As part of the weekend's Homecoming festivities, Boilermakers welcomed Keith Krach and 22 of his family members. Krach was the lead donor for the construction of the Krach Leadership Center, located across Martin Jischke Drive from the Co-Rec.
Krach, together with his wife Metta and their family, charmed, touched and entertained attendees by speaking from personal experience and showing how important Purdue is to them. Dedicating the center to his own father, Krach, also the chairman and CEO of DocuSign, made statements on his dreams for future Boilermakers to be leaders at Purdue and beyond.
The Krach Family Foundation announced at the event that the foundation will now offer a $10,000 scholarship to five students every year.
