Keith Krach Discusses HIs Take on Being Sanctioned by China with Fox’s Liz Claman
Jan. 19, 2021. Claman: China says they will retaliate. Do you expect to be sanctioned?
Keith Krach: That’s a badge I will wear with honor. I’m going to act; not react. I don’t think we should bend the knee to the China bully. When you confront a bully, they back down especially, if you have your friends by your side. That’s why we built the Clean Network Alliance of Democracies and it’s been such a success.
Liz Claman: China has said they’re going to retaliate. They’re going to retaliate against the United States for removing these names or failing to allow companies to do business with them. You could possibly be on that list eventually, Keith. And I say that because you became the highest ranking State Department official to visit Taiwan–which, of course, China says it owns–since 1979. Do you expect to be sanctioned?
Keith Krach: Well, I already am, Liz. And, you know, I guess that’s a badge I wear with honor.
And I’m going to act and I’m not going to react to it. And I don’t think we should. Bend the knee to the China bully. And all I know is when you confront a bully, they back down and they really, really back down if you have your friends by your side. And that’s why we formed the Network Alliance of Democracies. And it’s been such a success.
