Moderator: Good day, everyone, from the U.S. Department of State’s Asia-Pacific Media Hub in Manila. I am Zia Syed, the Hub Director, and I would like to welcome our participants dialing in for this briefing.

Today we are very pleased to be joined from Washington, D.C. – Keith Krach, Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment, and Bonnie Glick, Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, or USAID. We’ll begin today’s call with opening remarks from Under Secretary Krach and Deputy Administrator Glick.
